Written by Mr. Scott Wright September 6, 2010 - Site Created June 2001 Gorilla Mentoring was something I thought up over 11 years ago when I was a foremen over a propellants, cryogenics and hydrocarbon fuels facility at the NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida. While working there I routinely serviced a wide range of space support vehicles. Some you would not even imagine as somehow being a part of the International Space Program. On a weekly basis we would order, service and even create a wide variety of fuels to service the Space Shuttle, satellites, submarines, tracking ships, cargo aircraft, military jets, aerospace test projects, fighter jets and the support fleet of road vehicles. An amazing amount of fuel and very wide ranging. From diesel fuel, Jet A, JP-54, hydrocarbon fuels, hypergolic fuels such as monomethel hydrozine and nitrogen tetroxide right up there to cryogenic fuels such as liquid hydrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid breathing air and a few non fuel cryogenic suppressants such as liquid helium, liquid nitrogen and liquid breathing air.
